We’re already well into September – always a stellar month for new launches – and this month is full of goodness…
We’ve got launches from REN, Evolve Organic Beauty, Kure Bazaar, Cantu, NEOM and kudos to Haus Labs for its Triclone Skin Tech Foundation, already a favourite (and in 51 shades – thank you!)
I’d written up the details but got sidetracked by the earthquake in Morocco and can’t find my notes now, so apologies as there’s no back story to any of these but I’ve run out of time now as the 2024 Awards close for entries on 30 September so it’s busy.
All of these brands (except Haus Labs who haven’t entered the awards so far) are Beauty Shortlist Awards winners, so it’s always worth having a look when there’s something new from any of them.
Here they are, in no particular order and again, I’m sorry there are very few actual details but these all look interesting, I think!
I’ve been focusing on Morocco (see Instagram stories for info and details on donations and the best local, reputable, well-established organisations…I’ve donated £348 (£20 from each awards entry that came in over a 24-ish hours period) so far to 5 organisations, 4 are Moroccan and local, plus the British Red Cross and will add more donations soon, I’m tracking this disaster daily to see the best ways to help – I used to live in Morocco and it’s affected me very much so I can’t sit around and do nothing).
Some of them are very small but mobilising significant food deliveries to remote areas – like Amal Non-Profit’s 3,000 sandwiches (made by their trainee cooks and volunteers) delivered today, I think it was, with the help of a World Central Kitchen helicopter which landed literally at the very, very edge of a mountain road, to take a badly injured villager to the nearest hospital. Very grateful for these people actively doing something to help in this sad and awful disaster.
But back to beauty now, so without further ado, here are the products we like the look of (note: not tested)…
REN: EVERCALM BARRIER SUPPORT BODY BALM
Following on the success of Evercalm’s Overnight Balm, here comes REN’s brand new Barrier Support Body Balm (a fantastic multi-tasker, from baby bump to cuticles and beyond…basically shoulders to feet, as REN says!)
KURE BAZAAR: THE ICONIC FRENCH ECO NAIL BRAND LAUNCHES ITS FIRST EVER LIPSTICKS
(AND THEY’RE REFILLABLE TOO)
Available in 28 shades, matte and satin. There is also a 100% Natural Lip Balm for extra lip care as well.
EVOLVE: AGE-DEFYING LIFTING SERUM
For me, Evolve Organic Beauty is one of the Great British flagship brands within the natural & organic market.
It’s eclectic: skincare, hair, hand creams, shower gels and bath salts, deodorant, pillow mist, haircare and some lovely bundles like the Hydration Trio Bundle and the Mini Best Sellers Tester Bundle (5 minis) is a great way to dip into Evolve if you’ve never tried the brand until now.
This Lifting Serum is the latest launch – alongside Evolve’s brand new lip gloss, below…
Evolve’s new Bio-Retinol Glossy Lip Oil with Kalahari Melon Oil and Hyaluronic Acid (earmark for autumn/winter!)
CANTU: BIOTIN-INFUSED HAIR & SCALP OIL
Beauty Shortlist award-winner Cantu’s latest offering might just be the one to add to your beauty toolkit if your hair’s had a lacklustre summer and needs help. With tea tree, peppermint and avocado to stimulate and nourish…
HAUS LABS: TRICLONE SKIN TECH FOUNDATION
This shout-out for Haus Labs is because of the (yesss!) 51 shades to choose from. I have never understood why foundation/tinted moisturisers have for so long been available in so few shades. Honestly? So kudos to Lady Gaga and this one’s already a huge TikTok favourite – it probably won’t be new to you.
NEOM ORGANICS: PERFECT NIGHT’S SLEEP MAGNESIUM BATH MILK
English Lavender, Chamomile and Patchouli all made it into this formula, which sounds like a sort of hybrid (again I haven’t tried it) between a muscle soak and moisturiser. I’m all about magnesium bath products, soaks, salts, etc, they really work for me. When you’re stressed and tense magnesium to the rescue! A few pages of a good (but not too stimulating) book and it’s zzzz until the alarm goes off tomorrow…
The round-up again at a glance…
