Winners Announced/Awards Day: Thursday 2 March 2023

The judging team is already in place and we’ll be announcing this year’s expert panelists soon – in early September.

“No other awards champion beauty brands, both established and upcoming, like The Beauty Shortlist does. A true celebration of the best, the awards’ impartiality and inclusiveness mean that there’s an opportunity for every brand to take part irrespective of budget, size or provenance, and to share a platform that brings them wider recognition”

About The Beauty Shortlist + Beauty Shortlist Wellbeing Awards

– these awards are open to international brands and provide a level playing field for ethical, cruelty-free, well-established global brands alongside new, much smaller indie artisan brands

– THE BEAUTY CATEGORIES cover:

skincare, makeup, hair, nails, bath & body, beauty supplements and devices, natural fragrance and much more

– THE WELLBEING CATEGORIES cover:

natural supplements, CBD, holistic therapies, aromatherapy, nutritional products such as protein powder and supergreens, wellbeing teas, oral care, sleep, stress and anxiety therapies and more

– products can be already established at retail – or, brand new (new launches must be available for purchase by 31 March 2023, i.e. launched between 1 March 2022 and 31 March 2023)

– every product is judged by industry experts with broad experience, particularly in the skincare field (note: there is no public vote) purely on its own merit, and final rankings are based on numerous factors including but not limited to: efficacy and results, ethics, INCI/ingredients, packaging, texture, scent, safety (eg allergen-free), eco-sensibility

– the awards (including all content on The Beauty Shortlist) are 100% independent and strictly and completely free from any kind of sponsorship, partnerships or advertising – there are no hidden allegiances with any brand whatsoever

– The Beauty Shortlist Awards were launched in 2012 (followed later by the Beauty Shortlist Wellbeing Awards in 2019) essentially to provide a transparent and ethical shopping guide that consumers can trust completely – and we red-flag industry malpractices such as greenwashing or misleading advertising

Have a question?

Send us a note using the CONTACT FORM tab (it’s also on the home page, top right) and we’ll get back to you within 24-48 hours.

Supporting ethical, natural and organic brands really has never been more important. Who and what we align ourselves with in life, the brands and products we choose, our daily “footprint”, our legacy for future generations, how carefully we tread on our fragile planet, respect for life whether that’s wildlife, soil health, Mother Nature and each other, these all matter profoundly.

We are so looking forward to unpacking the boxes and getting down to the judging – very soon.
