5 years in the making and launched just a few weeks ago, Australian brand Eye of Horus’s fresh new SKIN TINT SERUM foundation has landed and it’s been worth the wait.
I’ve been completely immersed/submerged working on the 2022 Beauty & Wellbeing Awards which will be here again soon – on Wednesday 2 March (counting the days now, I’m so looking forward to them as there are a lot of new indie shining stars this year who’ve come out on top) – but amid a mountain of product testing to get through I made a point of trying EOH’s new superfine serum-foundation.
It’s lightweight, waterproof and as close to flawless as a sheer foundation can be and the coverage is excellent (eg if you need to cover up redness or a couple of blemishes).
(I don’t have details yet on when it’ll be available in the UK but this one’s worth keeping a lookout for).
There are 10 shades (fingers crossed EOH expand these but they’ve broadly covered light to dark), with a built in SPF factor of 15.
One of this product’s USPs is the inclusion of EOH’s very own Seven Seed Sacred Oil formulated with Moringa, Abbysinian, Marula and Nigella with Hemp, Pomegranate and Baobab oils (another recent launch, the brand is on a roll at the moment).

Encased in packaging made from ocean recycled plastic, with 100% natural and organic ingredients, EOH developed crafted Skin Tint Serum foundation locally, in beautiful Byron Bay.
I use a very small amount, it’s buildable but I find you can’t work backwards with it, so “less is more” is a good starting point.
New launches are always exciting when they’re actually exciting, even more so (for me) if they’re an aromatherapy or makeup launch, and Eye of Horus’s new Skin Tint Serum is up there with the best of them.
