One of my favourite categories in our awards every year (by the way 2022 entries close this Friday 29th!) is the Crystal Beauty and Wellbeing section. These types of products I believe have a special energy to them and we could probably all do with more crystal healing and magic in our lives. It’s so vital to stay grounded, feel protected, hopeful and energised at the moment.
I’ve sprinkled in a few not specifically crystal but still “magical” products into this edit, too: Madara’s Cosmic Drops and Tisserand’s Wildcrafted Frankincense Essential Oil.
Frankincense has very sacred associations – it’s one of the more metaphysical oils, often used in spiritual ceremonies. And when you burn the resin, it’s said that it will help to send your prayers up to heaven… #SayALittlePrayer
Every brand here is much-loved because it’s a Beauty Shortlist Awards winner. Except for NOVENARY, a brand that caught our eye this month with its Wafira candle (“abundance” in Arabic): focusing/inspiring/motivating, main notes: black pepper, immortelle, ylang ylang. I was using one of these kits two winters ago when I was renting a room abroad in a not (at all) great town. The view from my draughty window was just concrete apartment blocks (not my ideal place but I had to be there at that particular time).

TISSERAND WILD-CRAFTED FRANKINCENSE ESSENTIAL OIL
I’m using Tisserand’s Real Calm Moodfix Mist (a lovely sleep better treat for just £5.50) or spray it around the home office now and again, it takes everything “down a notch” nicely.
I’ve also got Tisserand’s divine Frankincense (blended with Geranium) in my spa diffuser, it’s a beautiful oil but I’ve only recently become a Frankincense fan and there’s so sacred about it, it’s a beautiful oil to take you on an inner journey if you’re meditating or just need some quiet time.
My geranium and frankincense blend sort of created itself. I’d had geranium in it, forgot to check if there was any still left inside the Spa Diffuser (also by Tisserand – another wonderful gift idea) and added the frankincense. I was in the kitchen cooking dinner and came back to the bedroom and…oh wow? Beautiful.
I often use this blend now (maybe try it? It’s different, the geranium brings a feminine slightly floral and warm note to the frankincense, see what you think if you do…)

FRESHLY COSMETICS ROSE QUARTZ FACIAL CLEANSER
One of Spanish brand FRESHLY COSMETICS’ hero products happens to be a rose quartz-infused gel cleanser (I remember this product well from the 2021 Awards and it was a joy to use).
