Too early for late autumn’s lush dark berry shades, but too late (already) for summer yellows?
Bring on this season’s “transition” colours: AW21’s creamy blues, subtle sunset oranges, softer reds (Kure Bazaar’s “Bacio” is bang on) and a basketful of green olives.
My current “love” because of the price (although I wish they did a really deep, dark berry colour, maybe they will soon?) is Danish brand NAILKIND which you can find at Superdrug.

Nailkind
Copenhagen-born Nailkind is up to 85% bio-sourced, natural origin, vegan, animal + planet friendly, and yes, long lasting.
Kure Bazaar
An early innovator with a myriad of utterly gorgeous shades for every season, KB is now the very big global baby of Brazilian model Kartika Luyet.
Made with 90% natural ingredients, including wood pulp, wheat, cotton, potatoes and corn (kudos).
Perfect example of the softer red AW21 trend, KB’s “Bacio”
Nailberry
Literally “Made in Chelsea”, London brand Nailberry started life as a Chelsea nailbar back in 2012, the same year The Beauty Shortlist Awards launched.
The credentials: 12-free, vegan, gluten-free and halal.
Founder Sonia Hully set out to make a range of healthier-for-nails polishes and her most recent innovation is Nailberry’s more “breathable” L’Oxygene collection.
If you are a shiraz wine nail shade fan like me, you’ll love Nailberry’s bright red and berry shades (there are lots).
Here are 4 of them, from a quick screen grab:
