This might be the last post of 2020, I’m taking a bit of time off to rest and there is also a lot of work to get through before we announce the new Beauty Shortlist Awards 2021 winners on March 2nd.
THE WINTER SOLSTICE
I can’t believe there are just two days to go until the winter solstice. I love this time of year because it’s all about celebrating community, nature, and the light in the darkness.
I’m going to make some orange and clove pomanders and a new Christmas wreath this week.
Winter oranges inside the home symbolise the sun, and I love the traditional festive season colours: red, white and green/evergreen (captured perfectly by Italy’s flag).
