From Lumity Life’s new face-food oil (coming soon!) to two exciting men’s skincare debuts from Magnitone and ProverbSkin, here are the launches worth a look this month.
Lumity couldn’t have chosen a better ambassador for their inside-out beauty supplements (a 2017 Beauty Shortlist Awards winner) and the brand’s brand new signature facial oil will be a perfect complement to their Day-Night skin nutrition programme. Coming soon… www.lumitylife.co.uk
Fresh off the starting line comes new men’s brand ProverbSkin, this is going to be one to watch as the founders, Luke and Kirstie, created the multi-award winning Pinks Boutique. Athlete, model and actor Thom Evans (read his incredible story here – he’s lucky to be alive) is the face of the brand.
Lots of good energy behind ProverbSkin, including Thom Evans
The other must-try launch for men this month is sonic cleansing brush experts Magnitone’s new Clean Sweep Skincare duo, an Energising Wash and Resilience Moisturiser which are so well priced at £9.99/150ml and £12/50ml respectively.

OK, back to the beauty arrivals. And this one is big.
One of the launches I’m particularly excited about is London brand OSKIA’s new City Life anti-pollution skincare range.
Shockingly, 92% of the world’s population live in places where pollution levels exceed what’s deemed acceptable by the WHO. This is beyond thinkable! (And why I think forests will be the new gyms soon, let’s just hope there’s enough room for us all).
OSKIA’s been one of my desert island brands since 2012. It really works. If you put me in a room and asked me to speak about OSKIA I’d emerge the next morning. So many good things about this brand, not least the absolute integrity and groundbreaking formulas around both the brand and the woman behind it.
Founder Georgie Cleeve says about the launch:
“This range has been a very long time coming for me so I am pleased to be finally able to share it with you.
Pollution is a hot topic right now, but we actually started formulating a highly anti-oxidant booster 6 years ago, unfortunately the science was simply not there. We have been working hard in our own laboratory towards major advances in natural cosmetology and micro encapsulation. Two years of trial and error have now resulted in a successful formulation that provides unrivalled protection, and I’m absolutely over the moon with the results.
I hope you enjoy our new CITYLIFE range”

Next up: SCIENEA
And Scienea have launched two new facial oils (because you can never have enough good oils – or balms for that matter – in the chillier months). Again – superb ingredients. The Superberry Skin Firming Serum will probably suit more mature skins while the Superfruit formula veers towards sensitive skin owners. Both suit all skin types.
Here are the main players in the Superfruit Serum:

Both are £30/20ml so a nice little facial oil treat to discover if you’re in the mood for a new one this month.
And something exciting from top London facialists Su-Man…
A-lister facialist and Beauty Shortlist Award winning Su-Man Skincare’s website www.su-man.com is a treasury of skincare tips – her facial treatments are literally legendary.
She’s just created the latest arrival in the range, Su-Man Skincare’s Watermelon and Ginkgo Biloba Refining Facial Polish so we can polish away the weekly grime of life on Thursday nights. The proof of the pudding is Su-Man herself who defies her age by decades and has developed a celebrity-worthy, celebrity-loved skincare brand that’s genuinely exciting.
New season. New palette.
Because…new season, new (limited edition) ICONIC LONDON Day to Slay eye palette. This one’s pretty and won’t be around long, it;s on pre-order and ships out around 31st October.
Speaking of gorgeous palettes, here’s the latest one from Pat McGrath.
001 SKINCARE’S NEW NIGHT REPAIR BALM HAS LAUNCHED
The minute I met 001 Skincare founder and celebrated facialist Ada Ooi for tea at Selfridges (a few years ago, now!), I knew her brand would do well. She was lovely and so are her products as I found out later.
Today 001 is at Fortnum & Mason in London and Shen Beauty in the US, and she’s just won a Beauty Bible Award for her innovative Eyecicle (have a look HERE).
NEW, is this night repair balm packed with squalane, marine algae, rosehip seed oil (a fabulous healer!!), borage oil and shea butter, among more… IF you’re one of those people (like me) who delves straight into a brand by buying a travel set rather than individual products 001 has some fabulous sets and for such a luxurious, intelligently formulated science-meets-nature range they’re pretty affordable too.
