AUGUST BRAND OF THE MONTH: MALLOW + WHITE
Oh, simplicity! Our breath of fresh air in a rush-rush, busy life. Last week I spotted (another) big glossy mag listing clean beauty brands that are not – annoying, and factually incorrect, especially when there are plenty of genuinely green brands around to take your pick from. (The writer got in touch with me and the magazine amended the online article.)
Multiple award-winning (Green Parent, FreeFrom and both Beauty Shortlist and Beauty Shortlist Baby, among others) British artisan brand Mallow+White would be on my go-green list for sure. And in what’s turned out to be perfect unintentional timing for this post, Joanna White has literally just launched a cute array new try-me/travel sizes.

I’ve watched Joanna’s garden-inspired inspired brand thrive and grow, from almost the day she launched it. And we all know green bloggers are an exacting bunch to please (it’s one of the reasons we love them!) so the fact that Mallow+White’s “6 ingredients or less” simplicity and authentic voice has been so well received by them speaks absolute volumes for the love, passion and integrity Joanna has poured into her small batch brand (not so small now – Mallow + White is available at LoveLula and other retailers now, as well as at M+W’s own site.
