The next post up is a Spring Makeup close-up, but Caudalie’s Vinoperfect Box at the refreshingly springlike price of £12 is too good not to share. I spotted it (again) while sourcing images for the next makeup post. So here’s the scoop!
Caudalie’s Vinoperfect Box contains:
Sizes: 10ml + 10ml + 15ml + 3ml
• Radiance Serum Complexion Correction: highly concentrated, oil free serum reduces dark spots
• Cell Renewal Night Cream: ideal for all skin types, brightens, lightens & evens complexion
• NEW: Radiance Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF20: lightly tinted moisturiser covers imperfections giving an illuminated, even glow
• Free gifts: a sample of Glycolic Peel, a beautiful Caudalie notebook, a cotton strap and a pouch in limited edition
I’m using the Vinoperfect Radiance Tinted Moisturiser SPF20 (which comes in two shades, 01 Light and 02 Medium). What I like about this tinted moisturiser is that it hits a comfortable sweet spot between decent coverage and a still-fresh look. I love Shiseido’s Perfect Hydrating BB Cream SPF30 for its flawless factor but lately it’s not working for me even though the coverage is superb. Nothing wrong with it, I just need a radiance boost after this year’s busier-than-ever Awards (and a break, I’m giving the laptop a holiday until Monday 4 April).
So this Vinoperfect Radiance Tinted Moisturiser has made it into my makeup bag instead of the Shiseido BB Cream as it’s more “glowy” and it gives a fresher, healthier look (for me, anyway).
It’s always tricky to match the “real life shade” of makeup with internet swatches, so here’s the closest match I could find online – in real life the Vinoperfect Tinted Moisturiser 02 Medium shade is a little paler/more orangey/sunkissed/golden than this but it’s pretty close. Ignore the swatch/blob on the actual product pic below, it’s not even close, the shade is nothing like it!
Best match I could find, above, but the real life 02 MEDIUM shade is more sunkissed/a little paler/orangey, not as dark as this
This is the 02 Medium shade I have, but ignore the colour above completely, it bears no resemblance (at least on my laptop screen!) to the actual colour.
I love this Vinoperfect Box (or the look of it as I don’t have it) as you get three useful travel minis for £12 plus a sample of Caudalie’s Glycolic Peel, a Notebook, a Pouch and a Cotton Strap (for tying your Mediterranean villa keys to the underside of your sunlounger when you head for a dip in the sea this summer…)
