25 years old this year, the Santaverde story has simple roots. Sabine’s neighbour in Spain gave her a fresh aloe “leaf” to soothe her red, inflamed skin and while nothing else had helped, the aloe was like a calming tonic. Age Protect – a closer look
AGE PROTECT FACIAL OIL £38/30ml
WHAT: A luxurious facial oil from Santaverde formulated to enhance elasticity and slow down signs of ageing, with thistle leaves, argan, evening primrose and aloe vera blossoms to support demanding, dry or sensitive skin. Helps strengthen the skin’s natural barrier function, smooth fine lines and even out the complexion, thanks to active ingredients from high quality root extracts.
HOW TO: Shake well before use to mix the two phases (care phase and active ingredient phase). After cleansing and toning, gently massage 2 to 3 drops into the face, neck and décolleté or mix with age protect moisturiser for more intensive support.

Santaverde’s Shower Gel. We tried this a few months ago. Aloe-rich with omega-rich sea buckthorn, it’s gentle and clean-feeling. This is a great one for anyone who finds some shower gels a bit “drying”. We’d buy it again. £13.50.
