So here’s a great idea: Breast Cancer & Beauty is being held on 15th October from 5-6.30pm at The Haven Clinic, Effie Road, London, SW6 1TB. Join skincare expert (and founder of the award-winning organic skincare brand Pai Skincare) Sarah Brown and author and clean beauty junkie Jessica Jones of the brilliant and tell-it-like-it-is Chemo Chic blog, for an evening of advice, product recommendations and beauty chats.
Sarah will be talking through the effects of treatment on the skin and offering detailed advice on how to keep skin at its healthiest. Jessica will be talking about her experience of breast cancer, what she learnt along the way about ingredients in her favourite products and the great natural alternatives she’s discovered.
The event is all about confidence building (sooo important when you’re challenged by an illness like cancer). We love the way the beauty industry supports Breast Cancer Awareness month in October and yes, the Pai team could have come up with a “pink” product but they wanted to do something a bit different, something positive and practical which would really add value for those going through treatment at the moment.
