Bobbi Brown’s new Desert Twilight Collection hits stores on July 1st and it’s already online. Full of sun-swept nudes, sunset pinks, shadowy desert mountain mauves and splashes of brilliant turquoise, it’s, for want of a better word – gorgeous! Inspired by desert sunsets and that late summer glow that half says goodbye summer, hello autumn, the collection is full of shimmering twilight bronzers, lip glosses and this sparkling eight shade Eye Palette £48, above.
The Twilight Night Shimmer Ink Eyeliner and Blue Moon Long Wear Cream Eye Shadow (see the website) are two stand-outs and we love the Desert Twilight Nail Polish (above, right, £11 each). It’s the darkest of purples, darker than it looks in the pic, and almost heads towards darkest brown/black – think black chocolate plum with sparkle, while the Turquoise is vibrant-and-flat.
But autumn is still far off and summer’s still here. So put your camel to bed, light the lanterns and a desert fire, and keep your eyes on the midnight sky, you might just catch a shooting star…
